Top class carp fishery. Very well organised by the owners Helen/Nathan. Spacious swims. A barrow is required to take your gear to your peg. The fishery do have spare barrows to use which is a nice touch. Good shower/toilet facilities. Access to a large fridge to store chilled items. Free tea/coffee making facilities and somewhere to sit and eat food if you want to take a break away from your peg. The bailiffs/owners are helpful and will offer tips and advice on your first visit. It’s not a runs water and is classed as an intermediate-hard water therefore, set your expectations before you book on.

My partner and I have stayed in Rosies Retreat twice (mid-July and early May). We Love Cromwell Lake Fishery, fantastic fish for the fisherman and lovely accommodation for me 😁
The bailiffs have always been super helpful and friendly. Helen the owner is also a lovely lady (she's recommended local takeaways for us).
The swims are well laid out, with Rosies having access to two of these.
We'll be booking again for next year!!

Stayed in both cabins in April, Rosie's Retreat (on main lake) has excellent facilities and is very comfortable, cabin on the Pool is more basic, but still much better than a bivvy. Great fishing on both lakes, staff are friendly and really helpful, put us straight on the fish and looked after us. Highly recommended for a fishing break as a couple.
