Took away my sons place because one payment was missed by one day. Yet their accounts department has the cheek to still send an invoice to us every month. Jokers

As another parent has also said. I find their payment, marketing and re-enrolement comms rude. They treat you like a number and don’t care or even pretend to care about you as individuals. They took my son’s swim space away because I’d missed payment by two days.
If they cared to find out or ask any questions about me and my child during any of my time at the club, they’d know this was the only place we took our son to due to his health issues and multiple hospital admissions. So to abruptly just take our space away because a payment was missed by two days shows their lack of customer service and lack of compassion and understanding.
They sent invoices via email and then direct messaged on Facebook (because in their words it was my preferred method of communication ) to tell me we no longer had a place due to late payment by two days . No pre warning or any comms of this nature via Facebook was received prior.
They need consistent comms I.e through the same channel ! and also give people some grace time, it’s been two days since payment deadline ! As parents we are busy, with multiple clubs, payments, admin, life curve balls to deal with.
I received the below on Facebook messenger two days after payment deadline. No other payment details sent via Facebook
Good morning,
Unfortunately as we have not received payment for your lessons by the deadline stated on the invoice - Sunday 24th March - we have now released your slot.
We are more than happy to add you back on the waiting list if you would like.
Many thanks 🦈

Friendly teaching and great lessons.
Much better than those on offer at the bingham arena for instance. Very warm water and facilties. Small class size

Both of my children have attended speedy sharks from a very young age and both are great swimmers, especially my oldest!
Having previously had our children attending local authority swimming lessons which were well meaning, but the children made little progress. Within weeks of joining speedy sharks my oldest was flying and improved so quickly! My youngest is in the early stages of learning to swim, however penny puts her at ease and is teaching her to be confident in and around the water.
The children have been taught by Mark, Emma & Penny and each one of those teachers are passionate about getting children swimming to the best of their ability, not to mention that they are also really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable teachers, all with their own unique skill sets!
The facilities are very clean and tidy. We have also hired the pool out for family sessions which has served as lovely family time making memories. My oldest is now in the swim squad with Mark, who really pushes her and the banter in swim squad is brilliant, which my daughter loves! Mark has taken my oldest daughters’ swimming to another level teaching her style and stamina in the water which has done wonders for her confidence.
Communication and admin has also been great, with responses to communication usually within 24 to 48 hours! Hand on heart, we love speedy sharks! Keep up the good work guys!

Sadly, we had an awful experience here. Speedy sharks can teach a child to swim but have appalling customer service. We were made to feel like we were not valued at all and merely a number. Would not recommend if you like to be surrounded by people who care about the children and families they are teaching and who show kindness and compassion. Credit where it’s due, if you don’t mind this and just want your child to learn how to swim, they can do that well.
***EDIT: you can’t pay an invoice you didn’t receive. A reminder invoice that looks like a first invoice and is due the following day is not a reminder. On top of this, personal circumstances, ie. Two children in intensive care for seven weeks, in our opinion, should be considered if an invoice were a day late.
There are always two sides to a story!
Have a lovely day everyone.

Absolutely wonderful swim school. Purpose built unit, excellent teachers - Emma and Mark are wonderful. The facilities are always immaculate. Highly recommended (although the wait list is long - which is testament to how great SS is).

These guys are AMAZING! My littlest has been coming for two years now (basically since they reopened after lockdown) and he started with 1-2-1 lessons with Emma, moving up to a shared lesson with Emma. And now he's in an after-school lesson with Mark. He adores them both and has done 4 skills badges and his 5 and 10 meters and has only just turned 5. Prior to this, he'd only been in a pool a handful of times as a toddler and not at all during covid and was extremely nervous around water however in the past two years they have given him so much confidence in the pool and a genuine love of swimming. Can't say enough amazing things about Emma and Mark and the pool itself. Feel very lucky to have somewhere so wonderful so close by.

Brought our baby swimming, started with a couple of private sessions with Pennie, now he has a lesson every week. He absolutely loves it! Pennie is amazing and is very knowledgeable. Very well ran, very clean/hygienic. Will recommended to everyone!

Can't say enough great things about this business, my 3 yr old grandson started lessons as soon as it had been built and was open, and now he can swim fully independently, that is with one lesson a week, with only 3 in a class. The instructors are firm but lovely, boisterous 3 year olds need that. The pool is kept clean, so are changing rooms, parking is easy with a huge open space car park. Only one problem, it's such a success that getting a slot is difficult, so you will have to go on a waiting list, but it's worth the wait. I have peace of mind that near water my grandson could now get himself out of trouble and swim to safety, and that's at age 3!

This swim school is fantastic! My 2 girls had their first lesson this afternoon and loved it! The facilities are some of the best I've seen, and the protocols in place because of covid made me feel very safe. The swimming teachers are amazing, and great at instilling confidence in my little ones too! I would very highly recommend them!
